This role involves maintaining the security and cleanliness of assigned locker rooms, welcoming and assisting members and guests, and ensuring operations run smoothly. We are in need of a male Locker Room Attendant to monitor male locker rooms.
Shifts for the MALE Locker Room Attendant are Monday- Friday from 12pm-6pm OR Saturday & Sunday from 11am-5pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Routinely inspect, monitor, and maintain security of locker rooms
- Welcome and assist members and guests
- Quickly address member concerns and notify appropriate personnel
- Ensure locker rooms are clean, stocked, and running smoothly
- Monitor for safety hazards, unauthorized access, and inappropriate behavior
- Address behaviors not in accordance with YMCA standards
- Complete daily Locker Room Attendant checklist
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Some college preferred
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Prior customer service experience required
- Experience working with diverse populations required
- Supervisory experience preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, hear, see, and lift up to 50 pounds
TRAINING
- New Employee Orientation required within first week of hire
- CPR and First Aid certifications required within 30 days of hire
- Department-specific training required within first 30 days of hire
