We want YOU to join our team as a Content Strategist at the YMCA of Montgomery! This exciting role will place you at the forefront of shaping powerful content strategies that elevate the YMCA brand, boost member growth, and enhance customer experiences.
Under the guidance of the Vice President of Membership, Marketing, and Communications, you’ll have the unique opportunity to lead and implement innovative content strategies that seamlessly blend traditional marketing, digital media, and the latest AI tools to propel our mission forward. Your expertise will be pivotal in developing dynamic content across various platforms, including AI-powered video campaigns, high-impact graphics, and engaging written communications that captivate our audience.
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR:
A dynamic thinker with experience in content creation, digital marketing, and AI-powered tools. Proven expertise in crafting compelling written content, editing, and creating digital graphics using platforms like Adobe Creative Suite. Ability to craft video content that tells a story and drives results. Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience in SEO, keyword research, and understanding of analytics to measure content effectiveness. A passion for social good and an eagerness to contribute to the growth of our community.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Experience with digital marketing and content strategies, including AI, video production, and graphic design.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Knowledge of SEO and web analytics tools.
- Comfort with working independently as well as part of a dynamic team.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Drive Engagement with AI and Video: Use AI tools and creative video content to elevate storytelling across platforms, increasing traffic and generating leads for memberships, programs, and online fundraising initiatives.
Develop Content Strategies that Convert: Create and execute strategies that not only engage but also convert! From writing compelling content to conducting keyword research, you’ll optimize every piece for maximum impact.
Collaborate on Creative Campaigns: Partner with the marketing team to brainstorm and craft innovative campaigns that elevate the brand and communicate our mission clearly across both internal and external channels.
Lead with Visual Identity: Maintain a cohesive visual brand identity that aligns with Y-USA guidelines while working with outside agencies for brochures, direct mail, and more.
Elevate Member Experience: Manage and prioritize a range of projects from concept to execution while ensuring the highest standard of quality in all marketing materials.
Leverage Data for Success: Dive into user engagement metrics, constantly optimizing content performance and ensuring we’re always pushing the envelope in delivering meaningful experiences.
Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep your finger on the pulse of the latest design and AI trends, continually integrating best practices into your creative process.
