What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vice President of IT Applications & Analytics position at YMCA?
Manages, evaluates and maintains information system technologies, including Line of Business and ERP Applications and datasets, , training and supporting end-users, researching and implementing new technologies, establishing "best practices," and maximizing return on technology investments. Designs reporting systems that ensures the organization is using datasets to identify effective ways to boost organizational efficiency and make informed business decisions.
This position will receive a minimum of 4 weeks Paid-Time Off, Holiday Pay, Full-Time benefits to include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, a Retirement 403(b) pension plan upon eligibility and a Free YMCA Household Membership.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Manages and oversees all aspects of information systems.
2. Evaluates issues pertaining to information systems for strategic planning and innovation. Researches areas of technology that relate to the YMCAs needs and makes recommendations.
3. In support of business optimization and decision-making, develops and manages data reporting systems across the association including dashboard reports, trend analysis and predictive analysis.
4. Develops and monitors budgets related to information technology. Monitors the costs involved in maintaining and improving information systems, including equipment and software. Evaluates and recommends technology purchases based on the YMCA’s needs.
5. Coordinates and manages vendor contracts and works with outsourced IT professionals to maximize efficiency and value.
6. Ensures proper operating procedures are in place in regard to technology and ensures proper training and support is provided to users.
7. Supervises a staff team and/or volunteers.
8. Work with staff team members to gain in-depth knowledge of critical organizational business requirements; analyzing data models to deliver logical conclusions, developing innovative solutions for operational and strategic changes; being proficient in inventing processes or systems; and conducting tests, surveys, and workshops to ensure positive outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration or related field.
2. Minimum of 8 years previous professional and/or management level IT experience; understanding of technology needs and systems of YMCA.
3. Advanced skills using Microsoft Office 365 products and Microsoft Power BI. Ability to quickly obtain expert knowledge in our existing CRM, financial applications, and other supporting software applications.
4. Ability to research and implement new technologies and solutions.
5. Skills in problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
6. Ability to communicate effectively, and to train and instruct users.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
1. Work is performed in a fast-paced office environment. Position requires attending meetings at different off-site locations.
2. Visual acuity is required for reading computer screens and/or documents and making changes as necessary/required.
3. Job requires high levels of alertness and concentration. This position requires analytical abilities and multitasking in order to identify problems and recommend solutions.
4. Job requires accuracy and attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills, while maintaining high levels of initiative in order to work within deadlines.
5. Incumbent must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time, as well as, able to manipulate keyboards, telephone keypads, and writing utensils is essential.
