Salary : $52,000.00 - $55,000.00
The YMCA Loudoun is currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team as the School Age & Summer Camp Program Director. Our ideal candidate is able to maintain high expectations while also ensuring a fun and positive environment daily! The School Age and Summer Camp Program Director oversees the overall operation of the School Age / Summer Camp program site(s), including curriculum development and delivery, and health and safety of the children.
Some of the exciting things you will do as the School Age & Summer Camp Program Director :
- Manage the daily operations of the afterschool sites during the school year and the day camp programs during the summer.
- Establish relationships with individual children and families and be responsive to their needs.
- Ensure all children receive enriching educational programming with a focus on positive experiences and child outcomes.
- Provide assistance to staff in developing the curriculum that is fortified with meaningful experiences while meeting the needs and interests of the group and individual child.
- Interview and hire qualified staff. Supervise and provide appropriate orientation and training for staff support and career development.
