Maintenance Planner

Job Summary
The Maintenance Planner plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of maintenance activities within the organization. This position involves developing and managing maintenance schedules, coordinating resources, and overseeing the execution of maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and enhance productivity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management and a thorough understanding of industrial systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules for equipment and facilities.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Review schematics and technical documentation to assist in troubleshooting and repairs.
• Supervise maintenance personnel, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in all maintenance operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to align maintenance activities with production schedules.

Skills

• Proficient in maintenance management principles and practices.
• Strong mechanical knowledge, including familiarity with HVAC systems.
• Experience with low voltage electrical systems and the use of voltmeters.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
• Knowledge of industrial maintenance processes and techniques.
• Effective supervisory skills to lead a team of maintenance professionals.
• Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking work orders and inventory management.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

This role is essential for maintaining operational efficiency, ensuring safety standards, and supporting overall organizational goals through effective planning and execution of maintenance activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
