As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our financial operations, ensuring that our billing processes run smoothly and efficiently. Your skills will help us maintain positive relationships with our patients and their insurance providers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing patient accounts and ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding balances
• Reviewing and reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies
• Communicating with patients regarding their accounts, payment options, and financial assistance programs
• Collaborating with insurance companies to resolve billing issues and facilitate timely reimbursements
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation for all financial transactions
• Assisting in the preparation of reports on accounts receivable metrics for management review

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma required; Associate degree in finance or accounting preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in accounts receivable or billing, preferably in a healthcare environment
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
