Patient Financial Services Representative

Key Responsibilities

• Manage patient accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Review and reconcile accounts to deliver accurate and compliant billing.
• Engage with patients to explain their accounts, payment options, and available financial assistance programs.
• Collaborate with insurance companies to resolve billing issues and ensure timely reimbursements.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma required; an Associate degree in finance or accounting is a plus.
• Experience: 1-3 years in accounts receivable or billing, ideally within a healthcare setting.
• Skills: A sharp eye for detail, strong analytical capabilities, and excellent communication skills.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
