What Would You Do? The right candidate drives vehicles to and from service areas, other locations and lots as needed. This position assists with vehicle flow within the facility and assists the service team in ensuring orderliness and efficiency. This position provides customer transportation as needed, and maintains organization and cleanliness of vehicle lots, shop, and service areas. They clean cars for delivery to the customer and are responsible for nurturing and cultivating a positive culture and work environment that aligns with the mission and values of the organization.
What will you be responsible for?
- Always responsible to greet, acknowledge and accompany customers.
- Collects information from customers’ vehicles and completes video walk arounds.
- Picks up and delivers vehicles as needed to accommodate business/customer need.
- Shuttles customers to home, work, or other requested locations as needed.
- Parks and moves vehicles/equipment to maintain lot order as directed by management.
- Helps clean shop and service area and maintain cleanliness of customer areas.
- Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and to designated parking spots.
- Performs general cleanup of vehicles after service work is completed as outlined in SOP.
- Cleans and maintains the washroom/bay throughout the day. Cleans and stocks at end of shift.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report all accidents to a manager.
- Assist technicians and parts team in running parts to and from parts areas, stalls, and other locations.
- Supports service team with various administrative duties such as scanning, filing, etc. as needed.
- Assists with other duties as assigned.
Do you have the necessary education and experience?
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- 1-3 years of experience in service and/or detail shop is preferred.
