OVERVIEW
We are a national leader in the boutique fitness industry seeking a qualified Studio Manager for a studio opening in the rapidly growing community of Lakewood Ranch located in Sarasota, Florida. As Studio Manager, your primary focus is people – delivering an exceptional member experience and supporting an enthusiastic and cohesive team of staff and instructors. You will also be responsible for achieving studio sales goals, overseeing operations and following brand standards, policies and practices for our luxury fitness brand. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fitness and an understanding of the boutique fitness environment. They will be sales-driven, personable, efficient and an excellent team leader.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales
Achieve studio profitability and growth targets through strategic, relationship-based selling
· Generate new customer prospects for the studio through referrals, business to business networking, and events
· Lead the sales process achieving high-quality relationship-based sales and role-modeling effective selling to staff
· Manage and grow all revenue streams including Memberships, Retail, Private/Group Training
Marketing
Create and execute ongoing marketing plan based on studio needs with a focus on new client acquisition, activation, loyalty and retention
· Develop and execute grassroots marketing partnerships and events on a weekly basis to drive new guest traffic
· Represent the brand at local networking / community / promotional events
· Keep social media current and fresh to increase event participation and social media engagement with members and potential members
· Carefully track outcomes of marketing efforts to inform future marketing and promotions
Member Experience
Provide the highest quality membership experience leading to high customer satisfaction and loyalty
· Create a welcoming and positive atmosphere, ensuring all staff provide superior customer service and all members enjoy a high-quality in studio experience
· Handle members’ concerns in a professional and objective manner with the goal of resolution
· Design activities to promote member engagement and retention
· Monitor and implement strategies/tactics to minimize member attrition
Management and Operations
Ensure day-to-day operations of the studio run smoothly
· Lead by example. Lead, manage and hold team members accountable.
· Hire, train and oversee all team member performance and company compliance, including employee handbook, teaching requirements, operating standards
· Maintain top-notch cleanliness, appearance and organization of the studio
· Ensure all supplies, marketing materials, and retail are stocked and organized
· Coordinate repairs and maintenance of the studio and technology services
· Work closely with Studio Owner and National Sales Director to ensure health and profitability of Studio
· Participate in relevant Studio, Regional and Company-wide meetings and trainings
· Other duties as appropriate
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
Job Requirements
To perform this job successfully, candidates should meet the following minimum requirements and qualifications.
· Passionate. Clear love for a healthy lifestyle, positive energy and building community.
· 2 year proven success in lead generation and consumer sales, preference given to fitness membership sales experience
· Ability to manage and drive multiple revenue streams: membership, retail and training
· Experience leading/managing a team of employees
· Self-motivated and takes initiative to strategize, plan, communicate and execute monthly studio sales game plan
· Knowledgeable in social media platforms and eager to engage
· Must have outstanding experience delivering high-quality customer service, excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both verbal and written
· Highly organized, detail-oriented, and agile with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet timelines in a changing environment
· Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information
· Experience with ClubReady, Canva, Facebook, Instagram, Google Apps, Excel desired but not required
Physical Requirements

- Employee must be able to work hours that may exceed 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week, including nights and weekends, especially during peak activity periods
