What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kids Yoga Teacher position at YogiDance?
Experienced kids yoga teacher needed to teach classes in Hockessin and Middletown, etc.
This job will be for random weekday mornings throughout the summer and is not a certain number of hours per week. We will share the schedule with qualified applicants.
Classes are for ages ranging anywhere from 18 mo. to 10. Classes are between 15-30 minutes and will incorporate age-appropriate poses, breathing, movement, games, and music.
Must be willing to travel around to different locations to teach classes. Must have reliable transportation and be dependable (arrive before class start time) and professional.
We will add $20 travel pay to anything 45 min. drive one way. There will always be multiple classes that you'll teach back to back. It varies by location.
Candidates who have completed a children's yoga teacher training course and who have experience teaching children are strongly preferable.
We're looking for someone with good communication that replies promptly to emails, texts and calls for scheduling purposes.
This is a good opportunity for someone who is looking to teach yoga to kids because they enjoy it and are passionate about helping kids first and foremost. This is a temporary summer job, but opportunities may extend past the summer. There is potential for growth and we're looking for someone we can call on any time opportunities arise.
In order to apply for this position we will require a video demonstration of approximately 5 minutes either teaching kids yoga or pretending to teach to a group of kids. Two references will be required as well.
