Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to oversee daily operations in our café. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with a focus on culinary skills and food safety. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food preparation and cleanliness.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of café staff during shifts to ensure smooth operations.
- Train new employees on food preparation techniques, cash handling procedures, and customer service standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during service to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Utilize POS systems, including Aloha POS, for efficient order processing and cash management.
- Implement time management strategies to optimize workflow during peak hours.
