5-10 years' experience in technology in a banking or other highly regulated industry
Familiarity with risk management and control frameworks
Must be very hands-on
Agile software development experience
Experience with cloud technologies, development or infrastructure
Strong data analysis skills using Excel or similar tools.
Experience with risk tools (ideally Archer)
Risk experience from a 1st line of defense perspective
Banking background ideal but not required
Experience implementing new technologies, testing risk assessments, and ensuring controls are in place
Experience in analyzing or managing technical processes such as network, server or mainframe systems administration

Description:
The Director of Technology Controls is responsible for assessing risk management and controls for Technology Infrastructure and Software Development and Testing, and working with the teams to enhance procedures and controls. In addition, this role will collect information and artifacts regarding control execution to support the management of RCSA (Risk & Control Self-Assessment), audits and examinations. The position will identify areas of improvement and provide support to implement enhancements. This role may be required to assist in the client delivery space. This role will lead will perform assignments under the guidance of the VP, Technology Risk & Control.

Responsibilities:
Support Technology Infrastructure and Software Development teams on all aspects of in-business risk and control
Perform/review RCSA (risk and control self-assessment) control testing to ensure operational effectiveness of controls
Assist in coordinating risk and control information for audits and external reviews
Analyze metrics, help identify areas of improvement and collaborate on the enhancement efforts
Track and report on the status of self-identified issues and remediation plans
Perform independent process reviews

Estimated Min Rate: $150,000.00
Estimated Max Rate: $180,000.00
