Rust Software Engineer with Large Media Company

- Strong foundation in Rust (type system, generics, lifetimes, standard library, error handling)
Proficiency in at least one other language: Golang, Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript
Experience with test-driven development (unit and integration testing)
Understanding of fundamental CS concepts (data structures and algorithms)
Strong written and verbal English communication
Technical Requirements
Experience working with binary protocols, encoders/decoders, or data parsers
Aptitude for understanding and implementing formal specifications
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills for complex data issues
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with API design (RESTful and/or gRPC)
Networking expertise (HTTP, TCP/IP) with focus on high-performance service design
Server-side and/or frontend development experience (e.g., Vue, SvelteKit, React)
Experience with containerization and CI/CD (Docker, AWS CDK)
Familiarity with client-server architecture and web services
Knowledge of relevant industry standards and media formats
Open-source contribution experience
