Hybrid Onsite in the office Monday through Friday every alternate week is MUST. Onsite Location will be Westlake TX

Our Business Intelligence Tools team is seeking a highly motivated Data Engineer with good understanding of Database fundamentals, Advanced visualization design and development practices. This role will be an integral part of a BI Reporting team, with an objective of enabling Business Intelligence capabilities and creation of impactful data driven business solutions. Responsible for building visualizations, evaluating, recommending, and implementing Business Intelligence solutions in alignment with our cloud journey. You will provide production support for BI system.

*PROJECT OVERVIEW*
Migration of reporting to adopt recommended tools


*REQUIRED SKILLS*
experience in building semantic layer with Analytical tool (SAP Business Objects Universe / Atscale).
Knowledge on how to build data structure suitable for Analytics and visualization is highly desirable
Familiarity with building visualization with one or more tools like (Tableau, Power BI)
Advanced SQL knowledge and experience working with snowflake database

*PREFFERED SKILLS*
Hands-on experience on SQL query optimization and tuning to improve performance is desirable
Understand the concept of star schema and knowledge of how data model works is desirable
ETL experience with proficiency in data transformation using applications like (Python, Informatica) is a plus
Responsible for adherence to standards and controls, data quality, problem management, and change management requests
