Buyer needed for a long-term contract opportunity with always the possibility permanent for the right fit 100% guaranteed. Yoh’s client located in Gloucester, MA. They are the leading suppliers of ion implantation equipment used in the fabrication of semiconductor chips in the world.
Pay rate per hour : $30 to $34 per hour depending on experience.
What You Need to Bring to The Table :
- 5 to 7 years of documented and proven supply chain procurement experience
- Ability to operate with limited day to day direction in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in PO according to supplier LT and approved prices and provide latest drawing and BOM to supplier (SCV / SIX)
- SAP ERP environment is a must
- Understanding our product and be familiar with companies’ tools
- Perform b usiness related direct purchasing like spares and parts
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience in handling routine negotiation, both on cost and delivery, and be comfortable pushing suppliers to adhere to company requirement
- Excel and PowerPoint
- Can read part specifications and engineering drawings.
- Ability to use knowledge of material types to communicate with engineers and suppliers .
- Provides feedback to engineering for cost reduction efforts.
