What You’ll Be Doing :
The Battery Plant Engineering Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Engineering Project Leader.The primary responsibility of this role is to serve as project leader for design and construction projects (expansions, renovations, greenfield, etc.) at our sites in North America.Reporting to the Manager Battery Plant Engineering, the person in this role will support the Department's objective to provide project management, construction, and building design to ensure projects are designed and built to quality, cost, schedule, and safety KPIs for North American manufacturing sites, Research & Development Sites and Logistics and Distribution sites.Engineering Project Leader for new Toyota Battery Manufacturing North Carolina greenfield construction project.Develop and review criteria (Civil / Structural / Mechanical / Electrical) for design of buildings.Provide technical support to North American Manufacturing Centers (plants) in the areas of building design and construction, including development and maintaining of building related standards.Coordinate and lead for industrial buildings and building related systems (HVAC, air compressor, boilers, chillers, etc.) as technical support for local facility groups at each site, as well as for submittals during project management.Utilize experience in plant planning project management, construction, and building design to ensure projects are designed and built to quality, cost, schedule, and safety KPIs.Required :
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in EngineeringExperience in building design and construction, including industrial buildings and building related systems3 years as Project Lead for Model Change, Equipment Installation, or Building ConstructionIndustrial mechanical systems (piping, chilled water, compressed air, etc.)Industrial power systems (switchgear, power distribution systems, 480VAC and higher)Controls such as PLC, networking systems, Building Management Systems, and / or Variable Frequency DriveGeneral construction (concrete, steel, civil work)What’s In It For You?
