Overview
Our client is seeking a senior-level Data Architect to lead the development and delivery of modern data solutions that drive business insights across the enterprise. This individual will be instrumental in designing scalable data architectures, leading agile delivery, and supporting enterprise-level data integration initiatives using modern platforms and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead data product delivery and architecture in agile environments (Kanban/SAFe).
Define team backlogs and partner with stakeholders to prioritize and deliver value.
Architect and implement data pipelines and integration strategies using tools like Databricks, PySpark, and SQL.
Develop and maintain logical and physical data models using Erwin.
Perform in-depth data analysis, profiling, and transformation mapping.
Ensure data quality, scalability, and governance across systems.
Collaborate cross-functionally with business, IT, and QA teams to deliver high-impact data solutions.
Stay ahead of data trends and bring innovative solutions to complex data challenges.
Ideal Candidate Profile
15 years of IT experience, 10 years as a Data Architect/Data Engineer.
Deep expertise in data architecture, data modeling, and data governance best practices.
Hands-on with SQL, PySpark, and Databricks on large-scale cloud data projects.
Proficient in data warehousing, ETL, and cloud platforms (AWS, Snowflake, RDS, Redshift, Hadoop, etc.).
Strong background with Erwin or similar modeling tools.
Skilled communicator with strong collaboration, leadership, and emotional intelligence.
Experienced working in Agile/SAFe environments, with a strong focus on delivery and quality.
Nice to have
Exposure to Informatica, Syncsort, and SQL-on-Hadoop technologies.
Ability to design hybrid cloud/on-prem data architectures.
Experience with data governance frameworks, metadata management, and security standards.
Estimated Min Rate: $150000.00
Estimated Max Rate: $170000.00
