We are seeking a skilled Protection and Controls Engineer to join our team.
This role involves designing and maintaining electric substation, transmission line, and generation equipment control and fault protection systems. The successful candidate will collaborate with other System Protection Engineers on various projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop systems for substations, transmission lines, and generation equipment control and fault protection.
- Design protective relay systems, metering, and SCADA.
- Analyze system ratings and provide data to reporting agencies.
- Produce project scopes and cost estimates.
- Assist operations and construction personnel in troubleshooting and technical duties.
- Prepare and review technical drawings and specifications.
- Supervise designers and technicians to ensure compliance with safety and regulations.
