Electro Mechanical Asssembler

Manufacturing Assembler – Gloucester, MA
Shifts and Pay:

• First Shift: 5:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Thursday
• Second Shift: 4:15 pm to 2:45 am, Monday through Thursday (10% differential)
• Fourth Shift: 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (11% differential)
• Pay Rate: $23 to $25 per hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical units, fabricated parts/components, and electrical systems.
• Use hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and miscellaneous equipment.
• Follow work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists, and verbal instructions.
• Perform assembly operations, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Test assemblies using electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps.
• Enter data on computer terminals and maintain accurate records.
• Work in clean rooms and use safety equipment like respirators and face shields.

Requirements:

• 1 to 2 years of non-semi manufacturing experience.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Physically demanding work, standing or walking 80% of the time.
• Ability to read and follow work orders and schematics.
• Automobile technicians are a good fit for this role.
