Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled and motivated Desktop Support Technician Level 2 to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will provide advanced technical support to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of desktop environments, software applications, and related hardware. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide second-level support for desktop hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems, software applications, and security updates.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in various systems.
- Collaborate with Level 1 support technicians to escalate and resolve issues efficiently.
- Document and track support requests, resolutions, and follow-up actions in the ticketing system.
- Conduct regular system maintenance and performance monitoring.
- Assist in the deployment and management of desktop and laptop images.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users on best practices and IT policies.
- Participate in IT projects and initiatives as needed.
