We have a contract opportunity for a Material Handler with Forklift experience.
This position has a good possibility of being hired by the customer.
The shift is 1st 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM 12hr rotating shift (2 on - 2 off- 3 on)
Starting Pay Rate : $17.00 / Hr.
Requirement : Forklift experience
Summary :
General areas of responsibility include receiving supplier shipments; picking internal customer orders; shipping, and inventory organization, management and control.
Positions in the warehouse are responsible for the efficient use of the organization's storage and distribution facilities. Responsible for inspection, identification, and
delivery to stocking locations. Picks and stages finished goods Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) for loading and shipping.
Job Responsibilities :
1. Pick, pack, and deliver orders for direct materials used in Manufacturing and Packaging Lines
2. Process Stock Transfer Orders to Distribution Center0
3. Move material to storage bins or staging areas with proper equipment following all SOPs
4. Assure quality, accuracy, and compliance with GMP’s in shipping, receiving and the warehouse operation while maintaining a timely throughput of operations
5. Receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and inspects condition
6. Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment in a safe manner
7. Handles flow of materials in manufacturing areas according to established guidelines.
8. Performs all work in accordance with established safety standards and adheres to all safety policies, rules, regulations, and procedures
9. Monitors warehouse space requirements while maintaining proper warehouse utilization
10. Exhibit safe work habits while maintaining a clean, neat and orderly work area
11. Other responsibilities include data entry, cycle counting, and forklift battery maintenance
12. Assess safety and environmental risks to ensure tasks adhere to HSE policies and HMS
13. Performs other duties as assigned by Management
Education / Experience Required :
High School Diploma or GED
One year of warehouse and forklift experience required
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements :
Remain in stationary position, often standing, for prolonged periods.
Ascend / descend stairs, ladders, ramps, and the like.
Wear PPE correctly most of the day.
Operate heavy machinery.
Ability to adjust or move objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.
Estimated Min Rate : $17.00
Estimated Max Rate : $17.00
