We have a contract opportunity for a Senior Buyer/Planner in Fremont California. This position is approved for 6 months and could be extended
Pay Rate Range: $50.00 to $70.00/Hr.
Requirements:
The individual may be required to enter production support areas. Some domestic and international travel required. Interaction with multiple departments across the site to collect, influence and collaborate activities. Groups to include, but not limited to: Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Quality, Finance, Facilities, Project Management, Site Leadership Team, as well as Corporate Stakeholders

Requirements:
- Requires experience utilizing a MRP system (SAP) to plan, order, cost, track materials. Must have experience utilizing Advanced Planning systems to plan, track and coordinate shipment of materials, API, and product. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills including Microsoft Word and PowerPoint strongly preferred.
- Ability to do complex analysis in Microsoft Excel is necessary. Ability to develop and improve processes based Six Sigma or LEAN methodologies (certification a plus) strongly preferred. Demonstrated problem solving skills with the ability to work under pressure is necessary to be successful in this role
- 5 plus years of Buyer/Planning experience in a pharmaceutical environment
- Bachelors/Masters (3 plus years of experience if a Masters)
