Workers Compensation RN Case Manager

RN Field Case Management needed at one of Yoh’s clients in Stockton/Modesto, CA.

What You Will Be Doing

• The RN Field Case Manager provides Workers’ Compensation medical case management services to persons who were injured on the job.
• Ensures injured workers receive timely and appropriate medical treatment to promote return to function, early return to work and claims resolution.
• The nurse implements the nursing process and facilitates communication and action among employers, insurance carriers, physicians, treatment teams and injured workers while acting as an advocate for the process in providing case management.
• Field nurses work from a home base, but travel away from the home office, locally 50 - 60% of their work week.
  
  

Hours:

M-F, 8am-5p (8 hr. days)

Travel

• Travel radius is 60-80 miles from home. Day begins as soon as you start- travel time, dr.’s office waiting hours, etc. are included in their paid time.
• Mileage at federal rate.
  
  

Salary:

• $105,000- $115,000 – salary is based on experience, education level, bilingual Spanish, CCM certified, location, and military service.
• Full benefits offered.
• Comprehensive bonus program as well.
  
  

Essential Education, Experience, and Certifications You Must Have:

• Minimum 2 years current experience in California Workers Comp, working as a Field Case Manager.
• Strong clinical background with training in Occupational or Employee Health or Integrated Disability Management.
• Registered Nurse (RN) associate degree or bachelor’s degree.
• CCM certification preferred.
• Current California Registered Nursing License
• Current Driver's License and insured automobile required.
• Customer Service and Quality driven
• Computer/Typing Skills-
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (WORD, EXCEL & OUTLOOK) software.
• Must be able to navigate in specialized case management software.
