Job Description:
We are seeking a Business Analyst
to serve as the Business Technology Leader
for a department of approximately 100 diverse technical team members
at THE COMPANY. The ideal candidate will collaborate with department executives, engineers, and technicians to create data-driven applications aimed at enhancing safety, quality, schedule, and cost.
What You Need to Bring to the Table/Requirements:
- Proficiency in Data Visualization Tools & Technical Reporting.
- Microsoft Excel Skills: VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas, sheet joining.
- Experience with Programming Languages: XML, Python, R, Java, C , etc.
- Industrial Environment Experience: Preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of 3D CAD/CAM Software: Catia or similar software is an asset.
- Experience with Citizen Development Tools: Power BI, Power Apps, SQL, SharePoint, etc.
- Education: Associate's Degree or higher (Preferred in Business Analysis, Computer Science, Engineering).
- Passion for data analysis and problem-solving.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills: Customer-focused and a team player.
- Availability to Travel: 10% travel to other COMPANY'soyota facilities, including Canada and Mexico.
- Serve as the Business Technology Leader, guiding technical team members in working effectively with COMPANY's Information Technology and Digital Engineering departments.
- Engage with department executives and technical staff to develop data-driven applications.
- Leverage existing IT infrastructure to create systems and platforms using SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
- Develop, create, and maintain low-code/no-code applications using the MS Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
- Create visually simple reports from complex multi-source datasets.
- Frequently report data to stakeholders to support business decisions and continuous improvement (Kaizen).
- Connect business systems like SAP/Ariba and Tebis-Proleis with Power Platform to enhance manufacturing insights.
- Develop and maintain SharePoint sites.
- Manage and track software license needs within the department.
- Interface with corporate and divisional IT groups.
