Material Handler
needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh Scientific's client located in Richmond, CA.
This position is for a molecular diagnostics manufacturer
and the team is looking for candidates with a high school diploma or GED with 0 - 2 years related shipping/receiving experience. Related experience with a warehouse facility.
Schedule:
Normal hours would be M-F, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Steel toed shoes needed.
Responsibilities
- The Material Handler position will include a variety of warehousing tasks and operational functions. Picking order accurately, packing shipment neatly, working in cold room environments. Supporting all areas of operations as directed.
Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent. Related experience with a warehouse facility.
- Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions.
- Basic computer skills in applicable programs, Use of rRF scanning device.
- Self-motivated to get the job done right the first time.
- Basic problem-solving skills, good communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize work While being flexible and adaptable.
- Ability to lift 50 lb items.
