Yoh Scientific is actively recruiting for a Material Handler to work a contract assignment located in Richmond, CA at a molecular diagnostics manufacturer.
Schedule : M-F, 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm. Some overtime may be needed.
Duration : 6-month contract with possibility of extension or conversion
Pay Rate Range : $18 - $19 / hour.
Attire : Must wear steel toed shoes.
Responsibilities
The Material Handler position will include a variety of warehousing tasks and operational functions. Picking order accurately, packing shipment neatly, working in cold room environments.
Supporting all areas of operations as directed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Related 0 - 2 years of shipping / receiving experience within a warehouse facility.
- Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions.
- Basic computer skills in applicable programs; use of rRF scanning device.
- Self-motivated to get the job done right the first time.
- Basic problem-solving skills, good communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize work While being flexible and adaptable.
- Ability to lift 50 lb items.
