Principal Associate Scientist with ELISA test experience
100% Onsite in Cambridge, MA
10 month contract with perm potential
Pay rate: $55.00 - $61.50 per hour (depending on experience)
***Strong working knowledge and background of ELISA test is mandatory for this role along with timelines and quality (right first-time philosophy) of testing and documentation.
Summary: The Principal Associate Scientist will primarily be responsible for performing experimental analysis of ELISA and provide oversight of planning, shipping of relevant materials, data review and communication to third-party labs under the direction of a manager or the department head.
Experience & Responsibilities:
- Perform ELISA experimental analysis independently in-house and ensure successful method development
- Plan, discuss and execute activities tied to ELISA project at third party contract labs
- Procure and ship materials to/between third party labs and on as needed basis
- Perform endotoxin test and other compendial tests on as needed basis under supervision
- Perform UV studies to determine molar extinction co-efficient under supervision
- Presenting data and soliciting feedback and incorporating it in order to ensure the success of the ELISA program
- Performing internal endotoxin tests, appearance, pH, Osmolality, UV analysis on an as needed basis on reference materials and non-GMP samples
- Assist with troubleshooting on as needed basis
- Assist with data mining on as needed basis
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in a science field, preferably biology, microbiology or biochemistry
Estimated Min Rate: $43.05
Estimated Max Rate: $61.50
