As a Production Planner, you will develop and coordinate production schedules to ensure efficient production capacity, on-time delivery, and required inventory levels. Success in this role involves identifying opportunities to improve processes and control costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review customer orders and sales requirements for attainability.
- Develop and analyze schedules based on sales forecasts and create production orders to meet customer and stocking needs.
- Manage production resources to ensure actionable and efficient production schedules.
- Facilitate Engineering Change Order implementation for purchasing, material control, and production.
- Review forecasted production orders and adjust schedules as needed to address production issues or changing priorities.
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Operations, and Sales to ensure minimum inventory levels are met to support customer requirements.
- Implement and monitor workflow and production activity within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to meet production deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
- Minimum one year of experience in manufacturing planning/scheduling.
- Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) information systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Organized, focused, and results-oriented.
- Problem-solving skills with critical thinking and prioritizing abilities.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience with manufacturing drawings.
Estimated Min Rate: $56000.00
Estimated Max Rate: $80000.00
