Yoh Scientific is actively recruiting for a Quality Technician to work a contract assignment in St. Joseph, Missouri!
Title: QC Technician - Microbiology
Location: St. Joseph, Missouri
Duration: Up to two years.
Work Schedule: Full-time, M-F
Pay Rate: $22.00 - $26.94/hour, based on experience
Responsibilities:
Performs Microbiological sampling of environmental/utility monitoring as well as microbial identification, bacterial endotoxin, and microbial limits testing related to EM/Utility samples. Testing is performed in compliance with 9CFR, EU and VICH regulatory guidelines. Responsible for timely communication with supervisors to inform them of testing, compliance and/or scheduling issues, adhering to company policies, maintaining a safe work environment through site safety KPIs, living out the Lead principles and following appropriate GMP documentation.
Requirements:
Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Microbiology or Biology.
For entry level consideration, must be a recent Microbiology/Biology graduate with academia Microbiology laboratory.
1 year working in GMP environment preferred.
