POSITION : Product Engineer
DURATION : 12 Month Contract to Hire
LOCATION : Speedway, IN
START DATE : ASAP
PAY RATE : $40-45 hr
JOB DESCRIPTION :
The Product Engineer will have design responsibility for automatic transmission components and sub-systems in support of product design, development, and production objectives.
Essential Job Functions :
- Coordinates the design, analysis, and validation of engineering projects
- Releases and maintains engineering drawings and specifications
- Assesses requests for changes and deviations from vendors and plant
- Diagnoses and corrects deficiencies
- Provides technical direction to support personnel
- Coordinates test and / or development programs
- Coordinates engineering projects with other departments or vendors
- Maintains communication with vendors and / or customers on a regular basis
- Prepare technical data such as qualification test procedures, acceptance test procedures, reports, component maintenance
- manuals, etc.
