What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Chemist I position at Yoh?
Production Chemist needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh Scientific's client located in Irvine, CA.
This position is for a molecular diagnostics manufacturer and the team is looking for candidates with a bachelor's degree in a life science or related field, with at least 1-3 years of experience working in a general manufacturing environment formulating products in the areas of biological sciences, life sciences, or an equivalent.
Schedule : Monday to Friday, 7 : 00 am to 4 : 00 pm
Responsibilities
- Responsible for bulk formulating products of low to medium complexity including intermediates in accordance with approved written procedures and policies.?
- Perform data entry and inventory control utilizing the ERP database.
- Responsible for completing production documentation and maintaining quality records to GDP / GMP standards.
- Coordinate prioritize and plan lab tasks to meet strict deadlines.
- Follows controlled Standard Operation Procedures / documents.
- Monitors manufacturing processes and performs adjustments when necessary to meet required yields.
