Tableau Developer

12 month contract (W2 ONLY-NO C-C)

Plano (Hybrid - onsite 3 days a week)

Job Description :

Must-Have Requirements :

Tableau : At least 5 years of hands-on experience building interactive and insightful dashboards.
SQL : A minimum of 3 years of experience in querying data using SQL.

Responsibilities :

Lead the design and development of visual analytics tools, dashboards, and reports primarily in Tableau for clients marketing teams, collaborating closely with back-end data engineers.

Take ownership of end-to-end dashboard development, including creating complex calculations such as Level of Detail (LOD) expressions, action filters, user filters, and implementing advanced Tableau dashboard practices.

Showcase and apply Tableau's capabilities, including multi-source dashboards, data blending, table calculations, advanced calculated fields, and custom visuals.

Identify data quality issues and assist in the governance of data with the IT Cx team to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Respond to ad-hoc analytical needs, providing tailored solutions and helping to interpret data insights.

Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and roadblocks clearly to both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field with strong quantitative coursework.

Over 5 years of proven experience in building data visualizations and interactive dashboards using Tableau.

Over 5 years of hands-on experience in working with relational databases and writing custom SQL queries.

Intermediate proficiency in data analysis and reporting.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage, analyze, and present large volumes of data accurately and in a detailed manner.

Proficiency in Power BI (Intermediate level).

Proficiency in Alteryx (Intermediate level).

Advanced SQL skills, including querying and managing data from platforms like SQL Server.

Estimated Min Rate : $65.00

Estimated Max Rate : $75.00
