A long-established Honolulu restaurant has opened a second location in Kahala and is currently seeking an experienced Sushi Chef.
Duties:
- Prepare a variety of sushi and Japanese dishes in line with our established recipes and standards.
- Ensure the freshness and quality of all ingredients used in sushi preparation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
- Assist with takeout orders as needed, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and Japanese cuisine.
- Proficient in handling knives and kitchen equipment safely.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
