A long-established Honolulu restaurant has opened a second location in KAHALA and is currently seeking an experienced Service Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and a smooth dining experience.
- Train and manage servers, providing guidance on menu knowledge, service standards, and customer interaction.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to maintain efficient order delivery and uphold the quality of food and beverages.
- Ensure a clean and organized dining area, including the setting and clearing of tables.
- Efficiently process take-out orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must have prior managerial experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Familiarity with Japanese cuisine and the ability to explain the menu to customers.
- Proficient in using serving trays, carrying plates, and balancing multiple orders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer and team member interaction.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Requirements:
- Bilingual (Business-level English or capable of communicating in Japanese).
