Wage: $24.00/hour, depending on experience with provable hours or work sample

Tasks of Position
The following are core and essential responsibilities of this position. Associates are responsible for completing any and all duties assigned as required for the successful operation of our business. All associates are required to perform their job duties in a manner which upholds the integrity and honesty of our company.
- Reporting for assigned shifts on time, and on a regular basis, prepared to provide excellent service and leadership
- Mentoring new associates or associates who are new to the department or task and assuring a positive learning environment.
- Overseeing selection, pricing, and placement of all items for grocery ads and month long savings guide. This includes but is not limited to the following:
- Adding marketing programs as needed.
- Meeting with vendors to negotiate for item selection, ads, and month long savings guide.
- Assisting in development of vendor cost of goods opportunities in conjunction with Center Store Coordinator.
- Performing strategic selection, pricing and placement of all items for ads and month long savings guide.
- Planning all quarterly and annual promotional calendar to ensure timely, creative, and successful competitive event advertising to ensure maximum results.
- Tracking all ad fees and bill back monies to ensure accuracy of fee collection.
- Analyzing key item and category needs, to negotiate best possible cost of goods and method of procurement to ensure competitive posture is preserved and sales maximized.
- Developing and maintaining display planner to organize future deal dates, ad activity, TPR's, and any promotional monies available to ensure best possible buying habits and to maximize profitability.
- Selecting items and planning of items to accommodate display planner and future ad activity, including all additional TPR requirements.
- Communicating in a timely manner with all stores and suppliers.
- Ensuring all work performed in the office is completed in accordance with work rules, company policies, and any applicable laws.

- Education and/or Experience
- Degree and/or a minimum of four years related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Most positions within Yoke’s require physical effort to varying degrees. As such, associates are expected to be mindful of practicing Yoke’s safety standards at all times.
