JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for overseeing daily production activities, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining high-quality standards while managing complex integration tasks related to analytical systems. This role involves supervising production staff, ensuring production schedules are met, and addressing any issues that arise during the manufacturing process. The supervisor will oversee the integration, design, and implementation of analytical systems, including instrumentation, sample systems, and analyzers, ensuring they meet customer requirements and industry standards. They will monitor workflow, enforce safety procedures, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. Additionally, the supervisor will train and develop team members, optimize production efficiency, and collaborate with other departments to meet production targets and deadlines. The Production Supervisor plays a key role in driving continuous improvement, handling technical integration challenges, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. DUTIES/RESULTS Manage day-to-day production activities to ensure smooth operations and adherence to production schedules. Ensure timely delivery of production targets while maintaining quality standards. Order and manage project materials to align with production timelines. Lead, motivate, and train production team members to perform tasks efficiently and safely. Supervise the integration, design, and implementation of analytical systems, including instrumentation, sample systems, analyzers, PLC systems, and associated electrical work. Monitor and enforce safety and quality standards throughout the production process. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety protocols. Work directly with customers, project management, engineering and procurement teams to ensure products and services meet client specifications and expectations. Must be willing to travel for job assignments and work outside the normal 40 hour work week as business needs require. Performs other duties as assigned. Education & Experience: High School or Vocational School diploma preferred or equivalent Technical School training or equivalent experience. State Licensed Electrician certification preferred Experience in supervising teams or managing projects related to production processes, system installation, and integration of complex systems. Strong knowledge of analytical instruments, sample systems integration and electrical systems such as wiring, power distribution, and panel installation. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Physical Demand: While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is required to talk, hear, and reach with hands and arms to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 40 pounds. The vision requirements include depth perception, ability to adjust focus, close vision, and color vision.
