This role combines engineering knowledge, software skills, and business acumen to sustain and grow KBC's software business globally. The successful candidate will work closely with sales teams, identify new opportunities, and develop strategic plans to raise the profile of KBC's software regionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with sales teams to identify and develop new opportunities for KBC's software business.
- Conduct demonstrations of the software and answer technical questions as part of the sales process.
- Support Wider Yokogawa group in the region as a SME in workshops that promotes KBC solutions.
- Analyze information and specify methods and process steps required to design and continuously improve technical sales processes and solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree/Master's in Chemical/Process Engineering or equivalent level.
- Knowledge of refinery/petrochemicals-based industries and technologies is required.
- Confidence in using KBC's Technology to provide effective first-line technical sales support.
- Proven capability in process simulation and/or cloud applications as an end-user and/or a software vendor.
