Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of Yokogawa's high-content imaging products, including their features, benefits, and applications.
  • Articulate the value proposition of our solutions to potential customers, addressing their specific research needs and challenges.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the high-content imaging business.
  • Deliver impactful presentations and demonstrations that showcase the capabilities of our high-content systems and software.
  • Provide advanced training and application support to customers, ensuring they can effectively utilize our products for their research.
  • Collaborate with product managers, marketing, and application teams to develop persuasive sales and training materials.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in high-content imaging to provide valuable feedback for product development.
  • Attend and present at industry conferences and tradeshows to promote Yokogawa's high-content imaging solutions.
  • Proactively generate leads and identify new sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and contribute to the development of sales strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a biological or scientific field of study, or equivalent relevant experience. Advanced degrees or significant experience in a related field may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
  • 5 years of proven sales experience in the bioresearch capital equipment field, with a focus on high-content imaging or related technologies.
  • Strong understanding of advanced fluorescence, laser confocal applications, and high-content screening techniques.
  • Ability to translate technical details into compelling sales narratives that resonate with researchers and scientists.
  • Experience in providing customer training and support on complex scientific instruments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to deliver persuasive presentations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative sales team.
  • Location: Boston, MA

Travel: Expected travel up to 25%.
