Field service team, provides application-engineering expertise, evaluates product performance, evaluates quality issues and ensures a level of service, which meets our customers’ expectations. The Field Service Team works closely with tire design engineers, quality management team and manufacturing personnel (overseas teams) to ensure the product is performing to the customer and market’s expectations. The team is seeking a QA Coordinator/Field Service Engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality, safety and performance of products through comprehensive testing, analysis, and field coordination. This individual will work closely with production, engineering, and field operations teams to monitor product performance and resolve any issues related to tire quality and durability in real-world conditions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and document findings from field evaluations.
- Help to identify tire quality issues/ analysis for improvements.
- Deliver technical support to field sales teams and customers across North America.
- Analyze test results and claim data to effectively communicate tire performance insights to internal and external stakeholders.
- Engage proactively with customers to identify product issues and implement solutions.
- Assess product usage and maintenance conditions to provide recommendations for enhancing performance and usage practices.
- Identify opportunities for product improvement, and advocate for changes.
- Coordinate and support original equipment (OE) customer projects within the North American Markets.
- Collaborate with central warranty team to prepare high-quality documents promptly, ensuring final project approvals align with customer schedules.
- Coordinate the requirements of new product development programs, this could include:
- Other administrative duties related to reporting and coordination of OE activities – such as assistance in review and input data for OE assemblies, retrieval and review of data from the Product Management system, SAP, etc.
- Any other duties as assigned by corresponding management.
Education and Experience
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. (Preferred)
- Experience in tire quality control, testing, engineering, or field support is desirable
- Background with commercial vehicles and/or tire products related to agricultural, construction, forestry, market segments or auto industry.
- Demonstrated administrative experience – Preference given work done in a Quality Assurance Role.

- Ability to manipulate heavy tires, cut tires for analysis, handle large cut tire sections, manipulate tire and wheel assemblies.
- Proficiency in utilizing hand tools such as a reciprocating saw.
- Understanding of shop floor safety procedures to maintain best practice while operating and maintaining heavy machinery.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of working hours with sometime little notice.
- Ability to work in cross culture environment with manufacturing and development departments overseas.
- Proficiency in conducting data analysis and creating technical reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suit; especially Excel and PowerPoint.
