Summary:We’re searching for a versatile maintenance expert to oversee and manage the buildings and grounds of our organization. As the Maintenance Support Supervisor of Facilities, your main focus will be maintaining the infrastructure and equipment associated with our buildings such as HVAC, plumbing, fire suppression, electrical, and general construction. Through your leadership of several concurrent projects and a team of Maintenance Technicians, our workspace will remain safe, compliant, and healthy for all employees.
Responsibilities:As the Maintenance Support Supervisor of Facilities, your work will blend technical expertise, contractor coordination, improvement projects, and documentation into the critical role of keeping our facilities in good, working order. In doing so, you will be responsible for:
- Reviewing and monitoring the current equipment and systems to optimize efficiency
- Leading project maintenance technicians, creating work orders, and assigning tasks as required
- Developing written procedures and standards for training and learning
- Choosing and coordinating suppliers, vendors, and contractors as projects require including managing their work on site
- Preparing and delivering large-scale capital projects including costing and budgeting
- Proposing potential improvements to equipment and systems focusing on equipment obsolescence, machine reliability, and operational efficiency
- Maintaining proper documentation as required for regulatory agencies, downtime reports, preventative maintenance reports, project cost reports, etc.
- Providing lead technical support as required for troubleshooting equipment and systems

- Expertise in facilities with strong working knowledge of the building process and construction principles
- Proven results from successful project management and people leadership experience
- Experience in maintenance and PM programs with a heavy focus on status reports and continuous improvement
- Familiarity with CAD design on at least an intermediate level
- The understanding of basic trades such as electrical, plumbing, construction, and HVAC with the ability to select and coordinate outside contractors to complete projects
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- An Associates or equivalent 2-year technical degree in a related field of study
- An HVAC certification is preferred
- It’s a plus if you have experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment
