As a Production Team Member, you are the frontline eyes, ears, and hands of our product. Through the operation of heavy, industrial machinery, you will play a vital role in producing tires at the Yokohama standard. Responsibilities
As a Production Team Member, you will work side-by-side with other operators, management, and maintenance to ensure our facility is producing the highest quality product possible. In doing so, you will be responsible for:
- Strictly following and abiding by all safety guidelines and procedures at all times to ensure the safety of yourself and your teammates
- Adhering to the YTMV standards of quality by completing thorough quality checks, inspections, and taking ownership of your work
- Maintaining machine productivity to reach daily, weekly, and monthly production goals
- Reading, understanding, and following Standard Operating Procedures
- Troubleshooting mechanical and/or machinery issues and recommending countermeasures
- Reporting any unsafe working conditions, causes of defects, or machine abnormalities to a Supervisor immediately
- Completing daily reports and other check sheets for traceability purposes
- Maintaining proper handling and usage of machine and equipment, tools, support materials, factory supplies, and other utilities to maximize efficiency
- Complying with company rules and regulations
- Helping to maintain a positive and clean working environment
Knowledge and Skills

- A coachable demeanor with a desire to continuously learn and gain new skills
- Prior work in a manufacturing or similar environment is a plus
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- Familiarity (or an interest in learning) mechanical processes and machinery
- The desire to work in an industrial environment with physical job demands
- Experience reading and following Standard Operating Procedures
The flexibility to work unconventional shifts as well as weekly overtime
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements
