The Yokohama Tire Corporation is a leading manufacturer of high-quality tires, and we are seeking a skilled Analytical Instrumentation Technician to join our laboratory operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex analytical instrumentation, conducting chemical and physical tests, and developing process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Main Responsibilities
- Operate various analytical instrumentation, including bench top mini mills, curing presses, tensile testers, Mooney viscometers, adhesion testers, densitometers, hardness testers, and moving die rheometers.
- Conduct routine equipment checks and perform calibrations/maintenance to ensure accurate test results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve laboratory processes.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of laboratory documentation, including SOPs and training manuals.
