Key Responsibilities
- Test Equipment Operation: Verify equipment operation and perform calibrations/maintenance on laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Laboratory Operations: Operate various analytical instrumentation for chemical and physical tests, such as bench top mini mill, curing press, Tensile test, Mooney Viscometer, Adhesion, Densitometer, Hardness, Moving Die Rheometer.
- Safety Standards and SOP: Follow safety standards and standard operating procedures to ensure product quality and minimize risk.
- Raw Materials Testing: Support with testing Raw Materials such as carbon black and synthetic rubber.
- Continuous Improvement: Aim to improve laboratory test methods to enhance the accuracy and precision of data.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: High School graduate or GED equivalent.
- Experience: 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
- Laboratory Skills: Knowledge of laboratory skills and standards (preferred).
- Computer Skills: Computer skills to include the ability to enter and retrieve data and understand the basic operations of computerized equipment.
