ABOUT THE JOB :
The Maintenance Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day functionality of the facility, equipment, and ongoing operations including, but not limited to normal and preventive procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Enforce and abide by all safety, service, and quality requirements.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment, tools, and machinery, and oversee general maintenance when necessary.
- Assist the department with maintaining appropriate appearance, organization, and safety of the warehouse.
- Ability to perform plumbing maintenance on sink, toilets, and other items as needed.
- Ability to perform electrical maintenance on low voltage 110-220 singe 460-volt three phase.
- Ability to perform welding such as plasma cutting, gas cutting / welding, and stick welding.
- Operate hoists, lifts, and other machinery.
- Ability to frequently use hand tools, saws, grinders, and small equipment pieces or parts.
- Ability to read blueprints, hydraulic, and electrical schematics.
- Maintain parts inventory.
- Maintain an adequate and organized process for all work orders generated by the departments. Must be able to responds appropriately to requests based on urgency.
- Completes all duties and projects assigned in a timely manner.
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work a weekly schedule consisting of Monday – Friday, however, schedule is subject to change and fluctuate due to company needs.
