Responsible for performing a variety of technical and administrative tasks for Information Technology. Audits and maintains the Network Support Database with respect to software licenses, network addresses, warranties, and fixed assets assigned to County employees. Inspects and checks in all deliveries of computer equipment; matches what was ordered against what was received; works with vendors to correct any errors; affixes property tags and completes associated paperwork.
Minimum Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent supplemented by applicable course work and 3 years of experience in administrative work, or any combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Working knowledge of support and maintenance for Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
Working knowledge of installation and routine maintenance of Windows operating systems.
Previous help desk experience assisting users with password resets and other PC support functions desired.
Possession of a valid driver's license issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia with good driving record mandatory.
Requires an acceptable criminal background check.

Physical Demands
Must be physically able to operate a variety of machinery and equipment including computers, plotters, printers, copiers, facsimiles, etc. Must be able to lift and move equipment and computers weighing up to 55 lbs. Frequently moves computer equipment.
