Description
Manages the daily operations of Rodgers A. Smith Boat Landing which includes overseeing and directing vehicle and boat trailer parking in designated areas. Also includes assisting patrons, monitoring activities, and maintaining cleanliness. Must possess good public relations skills, and the ability to carry out established policies and procedures. Responsible for educating patrons on county ordinances and enforces all boat landing rules and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older.
High school graduate or equivalent with some work experience involving public contact required.
Requires general record keeping and cash handling.
Working knowledge of operating a park or similar facility desired.
Must be disciplined, reliable, self-motivated and have excellent customer service skills.
Requires an acceptable background and DMV records check.
Supplemental Information
Must be available to work a flexible schedule that includes days, evenings and weekends.
Criminal background check conducted prior to employment.
Physical Demands
Must be physically able to operate a variety of machinery and equipment. Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to 5 pounds of force frequently, and / or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.

If selected for this position, the schedule will include days, nights and weekends. We need staff members that can work approximately 9am-6pm on Saturday, Sunday, and holidays between approximately April 15th and September 15th. Are you available on those days / times?
This position requires the performance of physical work in an outdoor setting during a variety of weather conditions. Are you willing to accept these conditions?
