York Enterprises is the South Sound's Premier Home Remodeler located in Tacoma. We are a licensed, bonded, and insured General Contractor with a Design Team and over 40 years of experience. We do a variety of projects including maintenance and repairs, foundations, decks, and design to build kitchens, bathrooms, whole house remodels, additions and ADUs.

We have a goal to be the most prestigious and capable custom residential contractor in the South Sound. In order to reach this goal, we are actively recruiting for an Experienced Estimator/Project Manager!

JOB EXPERIENCE:
Including but not limited to:
Project Estimation:
- Conduct thorough site visits to assess project scope and requirements.
- Develop accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and subcontractors.
- Solicit bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Review and analyze project plans and specifications.
Project Management:
- Manage all phases of small projects, from planning to completion.
- Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Manage project budgets and track expenses.
- Supervise and motivate project teams.
- Address and resolve project issues and conflicts promptly.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients and project stakeholders.
- Ensure all projects meet quality standards and are completed on time and within budget.
Client Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Address client concerns and questions promptly and professionally.
- Ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
CANDIDATE EQUIREMENTS:
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in construction estimating software and tools.
- Strong understanding of construction methods and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Time management and multitasking abilities.
- Strong negotiation and client management skills.
Other Experience:
- Proven experience in residential remodeling or construction estimating and project management.
- Experience with project scheduling and budgeting software.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
- 5 years of Construction Industry experience and knowledgeable of construction methods and various trades.
- Experience with technology such as computer skills, navigating apps on phone, and experience with Microsoft Office and Buildertrend preferred.
- Valid WA Driver's License and current Auto Insurance coverage.

- A self-starter and independent worker with attention to detail and has the ability to problem solve and troubleshoot and manage time well.
- Comfortable receiving instruction from others and directing others.
