EXPERIENCED DRAFTER
York Enterprises is the South Sound's Premier Home Remodeler located in Tacoma. We are a licensed, bonded, and insured General Contractor with a Design Team and over 40 years of experience. We do a variety of projects including maintenance and repairs, foundations, decks, and design to build kitchens, bathrooms, whole house remodels, additions and ADUs.

We have a goal to be the most prestigious and capable custom residential contractor in the South Sound. In order to reach this goal, we are actively recruiting for an Experienced Drafter!

JOB EXPERIENCE:
Including but not limited to:
- Create Technical Drawings: Develop detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software.
- Collaborate with Designers and Project Managers: Work closely with the York team to understand the design requirements and incorporate their specifications into drawings.
- Review and Revise Drawings: Review and revise drawings based on feedback from designers, project managers and permit departments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all drawings comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain Records: Maintain accurate and organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues that may arise during the drafting process.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to engineers and architects, as needed.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficiency in CAD Software: Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks).
- Technical Skills: Strong technical skills in drafting, drawing, and design.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings.
- Communication Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the rest of the York team.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Education: Associate's degree or equivalent experience in drafting, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Relevant experience in drafting, CAD, or a related field.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid WA Driver's License and current Auto Insurance coverage.
