Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Experience with EHR Systems and Microsoft Office is preferred, along with a solid understanding of HIPAA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist clients as they arrive, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage phone calls with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for the office.
- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness before filing or processing.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Perform clerical duties including data entry, filing, and managing office supplies.
- Assist with billing inquiries and insurance verification as needed.
- Provide support to other staff members as required to ensure smooth office operations.
- Communicate effectively with both English-speaking and bilingual clients.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or Eaglesoft systems is a plus.
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation review.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual abilities are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality is maintained.
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a positive attitude in a busy environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
