York General is seeking a dedicated Nursing Education Coordinator to oversee nursing education, professional development, and competency programs for our nursing staff at York General Hospital, Westview Medical Building and Dialysis. This role serves as the Primary Nurse Planner for the Approved Provider Unit, ensuring compliance with continuing education requirements and fostering skill development for nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:
- Continuing Education and Training
- Plan and coordinate CEU offerings for nursing staff annually.
- Oversee the Relias Learning System and other virtual education platforms for nursing staff.
- Manage the RQI systems for BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS.
- Coordinate scheduling and registration for TNCC, NRP, and PALS for staff and providers.
- Nursing Orientation and Competency Development
- Lead nursing staff by developing orientation programs, ongoing competencies, and department-level training drills (mock codes, emergency preparedness, etc.).
- Incorporate evidence-based practice into educational opportunities.
- Organize and facilitate training for new equipment used in nursing departments.
- Leadership and Program Coordination
- Serves as the Chair for the Nursing Clinical Ladder Program Committee, overseeing program processes and development.
- Coordinates student programs (high school and college) for those attending York General as part of their educational curriculum.
What You'll Need:
- At least 3 years RN experience
- Must be a licensed RN in the State of Nebraska
- BSN required, MSN preferred
- Must maintain TNCC, PALS, NRP, BLS, and ACLS
